Originally from Montgomery, Alabama, I graduated from Auburn University in 1997 with a degree in Political Science. After an unsuccessful attempt at law school, I joined the Peace Corps and served in Zambia (Africa) from 2003-2005. While there, I lived in a mud hut with a grass thatched roof, and without electricity or running water.
After returning to the homeland, I lived and worked with a Tibetan Sangha in California. At this point, I thought it might be nice to experience the tangible serenity of a majority populated Buddhist country, so I found an English teaching position in Seoul, Korea. While there, I enjoyed visiting many Temples and experiencing the Buddha's birthday Lotus Lantern Festival.
I currently reside in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, working part-time, and playing part-time.
